School Rules

Students shall be courteous and respectful of others at all times.

Students should wear their uniform to all classes unless told otherwise.

Maintain personal cleanliness (bathe regularly and use deodorant.

No food, or Drink allowed on the workout floor at anytime.

Students should wear only approved footwear onto the workout floor.

No Sparring or Board Breaking without instructor permission and supervision.

Inappropriate or disruptive language is prohibited. This applies to students and guests.

Horseplay is not allowed at anytime.

Students should notify instructor of any injuries prior to the beginning of class.

Students should notify an instructor immediately if they sustain an injury in class.

No fighting is allowed inside or outside of class.

Students should attempt to keep the school and surroundings as clean as possible.

Seniors shall be addressed as Sir or Ma'am.

Students and Guests will refrain from conversing with eachother while students are engaged in class.

Students should attend classes for their rank unless special permission is given by the instructor.

Students should be to class on time or should notify the instructor that they will be late prior to the start of class.

Prohibited substances are not to be consumed while in uniform (alcohol, drugs, cigarettes) Likewise prohibited substances are not to be brought on school grounds. (alcohol, drugs).

Students shall live within the guidelines of the Songahm Spirit of Taekwondo in and outside of class.

Students shall stand at attention when recieving instructions from the Instructor or Assistant Insturctors.

Students shall respond immediately to instructions; disruptive commentary is not required.

Be cautious while practicing. Do not overwork yourself while exercising or experiment with new techniques or techniques above your rank without instructor supervision.

Exercise discretion when explaining to other about this school. Do not engender ill feelings or rivalry with students of other schools or anyone else.
