Tim Benish began his martial arts training in Songahm Taekwondo in 1984 with Master Richard P. Juhl in Le Mars Iowa. After many years he moved with his family to Oakland Iowa. Having no local training facilities, and with the support of his parents he traveled an hour to train with Mr. Bruce Lachney in Council Bluffs, Iowa. His family was uprooted yet again in the late 80's to Washington, Missouri. At the time there were no Songahm Training facilies in the area so Mr. Benish continued his martial arts training with a local instructor in WTF Taekwondo. After a few years a Songahm facility opened near Washington and Mr. Benish left the WTF to restart his Songahm Taekwondo training. After achieving black belt Mr. Benish opened as school with the help of Instructor Timmy Jack Auten in 1995 in Pacific, Missouri and within one year opened a new location in Washington Missouri. Mr. Benish is a certified instructor of the American Taekwondo Assocation, as well has having trained in other arts such as Chuan Fa, JKD, Krav Maga and Brazilian Jiu-jitsu. Mr. Benish holds and Master's Degree in Business Administartion, as well as a bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies from Maryville University in St. Louis and has in the past served on the faculty of East Central college teaching their martial arts and self defense programs.
Alisha Allison began her martial arts training in Songahm Taekwondo through the East Central College program taught by Mr. Benish, eventually becoming a student of the Washington school she progressed throught he ranks quickly and joined the instructor program in 2000. She has served as Assitant Instructor ever since. Ms. Allison holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and is currently completing her Master's in Business Administration program and Maryville University in St. Louis.
Scott Nadeau, Mr. Nadeau is the senior student at Supremacy Martial Arts. He has been training since 2005. As senior student he leads by example and is a role model for adult and junior students.
Kaleb Graffis, Mr. Graffis has been associated with Supremacy Martial Arts for over 4 years. While unable to continue his training for a time due to moving from that area, he has since returned and continued his training. He is an example for younger students aspiring one day to achieve the status of a high rank.
